Thanks to donors like you, young people turned out to vote at a historically high rate in 2020, but our work is FAR from done. Because of COVID-19, recent high school graduates have lost many opportunities to register to vote. With many important state and local elections on the horizon, we want to ensure that every young person can make their voice heard, and we need your help spreading the word! By sending hand-written postcards to recent high school graduates, you have the opportunity to help a young person register to vote for the very first time. Your messages will let them know their votes count.
When you contribute, you can either receive postcards to send yourself (postage not included) or, if you prefer, you can designate your donation for us to send postcards directly to other volunteers. Or, you can choose to receive some postcards and to make an additional contribution.
If you would like to write the cards yourself, we will supply you with addresses and a script.
If you and your friends would like to receive larger quantities of postcards, please email Myles Nuzzi for details at myles@thecivicscenter.org. We kindly ask that you make a contribution on this page to defray the cost.
If you would like to participate but the cost of cards is prohibitive, please send your name and address to Myles at myles@thecivicscenter.org and we will provide cards and instructions as funding becomes available.
